Custom Cat started with Mark-O AC Cat hull: 1.Repowered with Volvo MD 20-40 diesel, 2. reconfigured with walk-on mahogany bowsprit and SS bow pulpit and bobstay, Spartan bow roller (plow anchor), 3. Rerigged with headstay moved to bowsprit fitting, roller furling jib, traditional boom gallows, power winch, carbon fiber gaff and boom, new blocks and cordage, 4. Electronics replaced with new panels, wiring and accessories, Garmin plotter on swing arm for use above and below deck, 5 refit below-deck with new electric/manual head, holding tank and hoses replaced, new stove, stereo system, pressure hot and cold water system with cockpit shower, cushions replaced, birch batten liner, large hanging locker, 6. Other – recent Squeteague gaff main, Allerton canvas, including half dodger. All needed for enjoyable sailing, entertaining and cruising.
