"The Alerion was designed by Nathaniel Herreshoff in 1914 as his personal boat. That boat sits at Mystic Seaport Museum where she has enthralled generations of sailors with her sensuous curves and elegant simplicity. Wisely, Rumery's Boat Yard decided to remain faithful to the original design when they decided to build a classic design in fiberglass" Mischief is hull number 4 of these lovely boats. Note that this is a "pure" sailboat and was built without an engine of any kind. There are propulsion choices for the next owner that include an electric inboard or a small outboard on a bracket. The cost of an engine is NOT included in the vessel's asking price.
